Hermann Stolzel bass
A very well-done, high quality handmade bass from the early 20th century. Excellent condition! Very well set up with extra-nice fingerboard, ample overstand for ease of access to thumb position. Round and open sound. This bass has been in the same family since the 1930s, and won its owner a position with the Cleveland Orchestra in 1942. Well cared for; all of the minimal work it's required has been very well done.
