A VERY unique dynamo of a bass at a phenomenal price for its features, tone, and quality! This German flatback bass dates from approximately 1960. Intact Stenholm mechanical C extension with VERY little use, in good working order! Original hatpeg tuners in great condition. The laminated back has an old repair in the bottom section, and apparently the decision was made to remove the outer veneer of the laminate. We'd suggest the buyer of this bass consider having our workshop veneer the back with a nice, figured, bookmatched maple, and the bass would still be a great value. Currently getting some minor adjustments and varnish touchup in our workshop. Good fingerboard, adjustable bridge, Gotz endpin, and brand-new Zyex strings that are resonant and punchy. ALL basses from QBC are supplied with a bag - this one has a good-fitting Mooradian in very good condition.

This is a SIZABLE bass with enormous tone to match! Takes no prisoners with a string length of 44 3/8"! It's fun and gratifying to play with the powerful tone and volume, and will be especially an asset to the taller bassist who can comfortably play it in tune and take advantage of all it has to offer.

Offered at JUST $4999 as-is what? Don't wait - we'll help you carry it to your car!
