We are pleased to represent this lovely, flamed German bass from the Markneukirchen region, ca. 1930. Said to have at one time belonged to a member of Houston Symphony. Recent bridge by QBC; well set up, with a massive, developed sound. Nice golden-brown varnish, high-quality fittings from machines to endpin, well-shaped fingerboard of very dense, thick ebony. Edge bumpers on both sides. Lots of tone for this price in a unique vintage/antique bass!

Upper bout: 20"

Lower bout: 26 1/2"

Rib depth: 8"

String length: 43"
