Wultur poplar-back 5-string bass SOLD
SOLD Brand new and extremely powerful! A beautiful, custom-ordered Calin Wultur 5-string with poplar back and ribs. We were so impressed with their 5-string basses previously received that we requested this poplar model, speculating it would have an even deeper, richer low-end sound. Their neck geometry is truly excellent, and this bass plays as easily throughout its entire range as a 4-string. Just set up in QBC's own workshop with extremely nice Despiau bridge and solo-cut fingerboard. It came in with plate tuners, which we upgraded to extra-nice Rubner individual machines. This is a model we can't recommend more highly for the bassist who is seeking the agility of a 5-string bass in the extended low range!
