SOLD: Multi award-winning Paris archetier Boris Fritsch has made very few German bows; this is one of his earliest. Incredibly well-balanced; impeccable workmanship; highly articulate and expressive. Beautifully appointed with a slide made from stingray hide filled with gold - a Japanese decorative technique. Pernambuco stick, mammoth tip, silver mounted. Oustanding condition. Made as a dedicated German bow. The frog is intentionally slightly shorter than average (4cm high as opposed to a 4.5 - 5cm average). 139 grams, 76 cm length.
