This is an extremely fine audition-quality bass at a phenomenal price. Dark and full lower register, extremely resonant, outstanding response, while still having ample projection. Smaller than the grand busetto model for which Abraham Prescott is known, this bass is very manageable in size, while sacrificing nothing in tone. In very good condition; there has been a large repair to the top in the bridge area, which is a well-done repair, and stable. The neck handle has been shortened in the center in a very well-done modification to a string length of just 41 3/4". Chromatic C extension by Quantum Bass Center. SOLD
